Detection reasons
Hits
Hits reasons look at where shots landed compared with where the player was looking.
What it means
Shots land near where a player aims. Hits reasons appear when shots connected away from the player's view, behind a moving target, or more often than the aim suggests they should.
Silent aim and hitbox features make shots land without the view moving to the target. A high share of headshots on its own is weak evidence.
Unusual input is not proof
A reason tells you where to look, not what to decide. Read the caveat, watch the replay around the marker, and check whether other players on your server show the same reason before you ban.
Common legit causes
- Weapons with large spread, shotguns, explosives and projectile hit detection.
- Unstable connections and server lag compensation settings.
- Skilled players, short fights and jump-heavy maps.

How to read a reason
Each cheating detection lists what stood out in the capture under Why this was detected on the detection page. Every reason has a kind and a strength.
- Rule: input that a normal mouse and keyboard can't produce. Legit setups rarely trigger one, but server addons sometimes do.
- Measured: behaviour compared with how legit players act in their fights. It is unusual, not impossible.
- Strength: Slightly unusual, Unusual or Very unusual, depending on how rarely legit players show the same thing.
